Underwater for M-Le Magazine du Monde

I was honored being asked by M-Le magazine du Monde to work on my personal project photographing life underwater on Oahu for one day, to be showcased as visual commentary in the world for that week.

Translation from French..
February 25th 2012 Kaimana Beach, Oahu
The sea was still and glassy, it was an unusually overcast day and cool winter currents swept through the water but it didn't stop locals from heading to the ocean on a Saturday afternoon. These photographs were taken at Kaimana, a sandy beach that lies just south of the tourist city of Waikiki, Hawaii, where water-men, locals and tourists all come to experience the clear, infinite blue. I regularly come here to swim and photograph the unique, fleeting, fluid interactions we each have in the ocean. It is part of a long-term essay documenting observations of life aquatic that will continue to unfold throughout my love affair with the sea.
